St. Joseph’s English Medium Higher Secondary School, Aloor, was established in 1964 with a noble vision: to bring the light of education to the community and nurture future generations with knowledge, values, and faith. The school began its journey under the dedicated management of the Sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Family. From its humble beginnings, St. Joseph’s steadily grew into a respected institution recognized by the Kerala Education Department, preparing students for both SSLC and Plus Two examinations. In the course of its development, the school was upgraded into a Higher Secondary School and later became an English Medium Higher Secondary School (EMHSS). Over the decades, thousands of students have walked through its gates, equipped not only with academic excellence but also with strong moral values and discipline. From the start, St. Joseph’s has always believed that education is more than academics—it is the holistic development of a child. The institution has consistently focused on shaping responsible citizens by fostering growth mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Students have excelled in academics, arts, sports, cultural events, NCC, Scouts, and Guides, bringing laurels to the school and community.
